About me
My name is Libero Spagnolini; in September 2007 I received a Master Degree in Computer Engineering
from Politecnico di Torino and, as I hope you'll figure out from this site,
my main interest is programming, specifically Computer Graphics.
Since May 2007 I've been working at Erxa as a software engineer,
developing 3D robotics applications. I also had the opportunity to develop
my master thesis at Erxa;
I had a lot of fun doing it: shaders rock!
I am also interested in subdivision surfaces, a cool modeling technique
that, compared to NURBS, easily lets you build surfaces of pretty complex
topology. Subdivision surfaces are so cool so I'm playing with them in the
new (GPGPU?) version of Plastilina, a mesh modeler
I wrote while in Politecnico a some years ago, that will likely turn out into some vaporware :-).
Recently I got interested in shading trees and how to get shading language code out of them:
check out Shaderlink, my new ShaderMan wannabe tool!
I would like to thank Alice for having simpsonsized me!
