PhotoFuff
PhotoFuff is an Apple Photobooth clone.
It distorts in real-time your webcam video stream using pixel shaders.
If you are really interested in knowing what's going on behind the scenes please check out
a tutorial I wrote some time ago.
In order to be able to run PhotFuff properly, make sure you have installed
the .Net Framerwork 2.0 and
the latest DirectX Redist
(at least November Redist).
PhotoFuff was developed in C# using Managed DirectX. For getting the video stream out of the webcam,
DirectShow was used.
In theory PhotoFuff should run on any graphics card that supports pixel shaders 2.0. It even ran smoothly on an integrated
Intel 945G of my Thinkpad X60.
Unfortunately some ATI display drivers on Windows Vista don't like my code so watch out.
Pay attention PhotoFuff can become addictive!
Please notice that without prior explicit permission you CAN'T redistribute PhotoFuff or use it for profit.
